Rick Clark Award

This is the highest and most coveted award given by our company. It was founded in loving memory of Rick Clark. Rick was a supervisor for Grace Energy who exemplified everything an employee should aspire to be. He was a very dedicated employee, always positive, encouraging, highly motivated, and his sincerity and honesty were both beyond reproach. Rick always found the best in everyone and while the company's interest was always first, he found ways to make every situation a WIN-WIN for everyone. Especially encouragement, leadership, and friendship will always be raised by everyone who knew him. With this award it is our way of always having Rick with us, and reminding us of the examples he set for us to follow. The recipient of this award is an individual who possesses the same qualities Rick shared with us. This company is fortunate to have many wonderful employee and as Rick would say "Don't Worry...... Be Happy!"

President-'s Award

The recipient of this award is chosen by our President, Jerry Perry. It originated two years ago when there’s a very close race between two outstanding managers for the Manager of the Year Award. Mr. Perry wanted to acknowledge the achievements of both individuals. This prestigious award was founded to honor excellence and is given only at the discretion of Mr. Perry.

Most Valuable Member of the Year

The recipient of this award is chosen from the twelve award winners of the monthly Most Valuable member recognition’s. Monthly honorees may be nominated by anyone in the company, or by customer recommendation. All Grace Energy employees are eligible by excellently exceeding expectations in the performance of their duties. To select the recipient of the Most Valuable Member of the Year award, a corporate management committee reviews the original nominations of the monthly honorees, and selects the yearly recipient based upon their individual contribution to the company and their overall consistent performance for the entire year.

Gerald Anderson Memorial - Manager of the Year

This individual must not only show outstanding management ability and work ethic, they must also meet goals in the following areas:

* inventory shrinkage
* profitability - inside sales
* returned check collection
* minimal cash shortage
* labor hours

The manager with the best ratings in each of these categories receives this prestigious honor.

Assistant Manager of the Year

This award was established in 1995 to recognize an outstanding Assistant Manager who truly excels in their position. This individual is nominated by their manager who must submit, in writing, detailed information as to why they believe their assistant manager is the best in our company.

Rookie of the Year

This award is designed to recognize the outstanding New Manager in our company. It's criteria is similar to the Manager of the Year in that outstanding management ability and work ethic must be shown. However, the category criteria is rated by the comparison of statistics from the store's previous year with the positive changes that have occurred due to the New Manager's efforts in the current year. Reviewing and comparing all New Manager's efforts gives top management a good synopsis of what each individual is capable of accomplishing.
